Employee Spotlight: Cliff Rafiq

My Name is Cliff Rafiq,

I started in this industry straight out of high school as a runner in 2001. I became a Certified Customs Specialist in 2002-2003. I initially worked for a small family brokerage firm where I learned most of my core customs skills. Working for small brokerage taught me the value of excellent customer service skills and going beyond the expected. In 2015, A & A Customs Brokers offered me a position that allowed me to grow as a professional; I eagerly embraced the opportunity. Starting as a Senior Customs Specialist, I soon was offered the position of Customs Supervisor for the Air/Ocean Department. Everyday I come to work with a can-do/positive attitude. My hope is to be the best customs broker in the industry; a rather simple but worthwhile goal.
