What are acceptable statements for the marking on wood packaging material?

Acceptable statements are: the mark must at a minimum include the IPPC symbol for treated wood packaging materials. The colors red or orange should be avoided. Reconditioned wood packaging materials must be treated and contain the marks of the facility approved to perform the re-treatment. The NPPOs or producers may at their discretion add control numbers or other information used for identifying specific lots.
