On March 3, 2025, President Trump made statements this afternoon on tariffs announced back on February 1, 2025 will proceed and go into effect at 12:01 am EDT on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Tariffs Imposed on Goods Into the United States from Canada:

• 25% tariff on all products and goods
• 10% tariff on all Canadian energy exports (excluding oil, natural gas, and electricity)

Tariffs Imposed on Goods Into the United States from Mexico:

• 25% tariff on all products and goods

Tariffs Imposed on Goods Into the United States from China: 

• Increase in tariffs from 10% to 20%

These tariffs above will be in addition to any other existing tariffs in place such as PNTR, Section 232, Section 301, and AD/CVD.
